I'm still here update! & Tuesday Tutorial

I'm SO sorry for the delay and lack of updates!

As of today Elijah STILL has his cold and doesn't feel 100%, so obviously I am taking care of him. It seems that his cold has moved into his eyes. So we are trying to take care of our little man, get him well and trying desperately to not get more sick ourselves. [our eyes are already starting to itch...oh no]

Dave & I have also been working on cleaning and organizing our home. Besides the fact we are trying to keep everything clean and disinfected from us and Elijah being sick, since I was pregnant when we moved, we are just now getting around to getting my stuff from my childhood from being stored at my parents house. So we have been busy with that. It's a lot to move! And I have to make room here in my office to stack it all to be gone through. BUT WOOHOO it's so cool to have all my stuff in one place. We're not done yet, but just the anticipation of it is so exciting! I can't wait to share my favorite things from when I was a small child with Elijah!

As for Elijah: He has done a few new things the last two weeks.
HE ROLLED OVER! He has figured out how to kick his legs out to get him to his side, then from his side to his stomach! YAY! He has also figured out how to sit up when he's laying in our arms. He will kick out his feet to propel him up! He also has started to wave to us and any time we walk into the room when hes up and playing we are greeted with a very big cute "HI." We thought it would be unbelievable that he picked it up already but it is clear as day HI and Dave's mom said that his sister Cathi started saying Hi around 3 months too. So its not uncommon. [Cathi is now a Dr... so maybe its a sign :) ] We say many of the same words and associate them with our actions so he would understand early. But we never thought he would get it this early. I guess our time spent everyday working with him is paying off. When I read to him last night there were certain words I would say and he would make similar sounds. Like "Balloon". He loves that word and tries to say it. We get a big "bbbbaaaaloooo: but as soon as I repeat balloon he repeats that. He likes to say "YAY: when Dave says yay. And his favorite word of all is "Good." If you say good to him first thing he does is smile then yells "Goooooooooooooooooooooooog." It's hilarious.

Elijah also has his first sickness, this cold. Had his first drink of water from a sippy cup. I know he's done other "firsts" this week but I gotta get going back to take care of him.

As for this week's Tuesday Tutorial. Since I am SO behind and Elijah needs me I am going to give you some AWESOME facebook privacy settings tips!

AllFacebook.com the unofficial facebook blog posted yesterday about 10 Privacy Settings Every Facebook User Should Know. I HIGHLY recommend reading this!
http://www.allfacebook.com/2009/02/facebook-privacy/

It gives you the best tips, including how to remove yourself from facebook search results!

Alright, well I'll be back when I can. Still have a ton of great reviews coming up! Will post them as soon as possible. Thanks for reading! ♥ Erin
