Review: Classy Catz Crochet Hook Set

What I love: I do a lot of yarn crafting, crochet, knitting, and especially these days I really enjoy loom knitting, but because of my RA it's hard to do anything taxing on my hands for long. I have pretty much given up on doing anything involving a crochet needle for any amount of time over 10 minutes because they are so thin my hands and fingers have trouble being bend to hold and grasp them and do the motions.

Recently I found Classy Catz Crochet Hook Set. Featuring 6 hooks, a pair of yarn snips, 20 pcs plastic marker and row counter. They come in a really nice zippered case that measures about 5"x 8". These hooks are made aluminum and brightly colored molded TPR, thermoplastic rubber. The ergonomic thicker TRP handles are slip resistant and super comfortable to hold, even with arthritic hands. The hooks are ordered in size and they are all stamped with size as well in the plastic, 2mm/ 2.5mm/ 3mm/ 3.5mm/ 4mm/ 4.5mm/ 5.5mm/ 6mm. Each one is color coded and easy to identify. Each one of these hooks is sharp and I had no problem with them easily going in and out of the different widths of yarn.

Currently, I am using a very thick yarn for a loom knitting infinity scarf project and find the hooks work perfectly for pulling the yarn up and over the other strand and the top of the pegs with little to no effort and without slipping. I can work on projects now for at least 45 minutes where as before after 10 minutes I was giving up. They are comfortable enough to hold in either right or left hands and don't even slip when your hands get sweaty! I am super happy with these hooks!

Bottom Line: I really love it and give it 5 out of 5 stars.
