Review: Cyelee 3-Port HDMI Switch #HDMI

What I love: I have a newer 55" HD LCD TV but it only has 2 HDMI ports. That's really inconvenient considering how many peripherals I have to hook to my tv. I most use a Roku, a Micca Speck, a PlayStation, an Xbox, and a Wii so I have to unplug and re-plug in when I want to change what I am using. This Cyelee 3-port Switcher is perfect to fix this! giving me 2 extra ports then I started with.

The HDMI Switcher comes in a really nice box that contains the HDMI Switch, the power supply, a remote control and the manual. Set up is simple, you just plug the power in, then plug the switcher into the HDMI port of the tv, from there you can plug up to 3 devices into it. Change your TV to the input for the port and it will come up to the first switcher. What's really cool though it will automatically switch to the device that's powered on. Say I turn off the XB360 and turn on the WiiU it will automatically switch to the WiiU because it powered on. You can also use the remote to switch between multiple powered on devices and even do Picture in Picture. Now the PIP is really small and only plays the audio from the main input you're using, so it's not great if you want to use it to do two things at once large but it's really convenient for things like playing a video game while keeping an eye on the baseball game. This unit worked well with everything I tried, game systems and peripherals. It even supports 3D if you are using a 3D TV and device. The unit is nice looking shiny black with green lettering and very light weight.

This works exactly as expected and awesome! You could even use multiples on the same tv to hook up even more stuff.

Bottom Line: I really love it and give it 5 out of 5 stars.
Would I recommend it to my family and friends? YES!
