Review: LEDNut Motion Sensing Closet Night Light

I am blind as a bat. Really, it's bad. I often have to get a flashlight or other light to be able to see the dumbest things, like read packages, mail, anything really. Because of this I am a huge fan of lights, especially LEDs, which are brighter and clearer than traditional bulbs. My biggest complaint about 99% of the lights I have is they either use a ton of batteries even when not in use, have awkward plugs, or don't stay charged. The LEDNut Motion Sensing Closet Night Light does not have that problem.

Charging quickly by USB, the light will last up to 4 hours continuously lighting and up to 2 months on auto before it needs charged again. The initial charge I plugged it and left it while at work for a short shift so I'm not exactly how quickly it charged, but definitely under 6 hours. I have been using it in my bathroom since I got it about a week ago and so far the charge is still strong. It's very nice and bright white LEDS inside and it's definitely a good amount of light. The motion sensor can see almost 10 feet so I have it on the wall facing out towards the door so it flips on as soon as you go into the doorway. It stays lit as long as it detects movement, then for about 15-20 seconds after motion stops. What I really like too is that there is a switch on top so if you want to use the light to stay continuously on then you just push that to "On" and it instantly will stay on. You can also flip the switch off if you rather just be in the dark. The unit itself is only 5.75" x 1" x .5" which is a great convenient size for using pretty much anywhere you can think of, in your home, your car, or even traveling.  What's really great about this light is the options to attach it. There is a nice strong magnet built in so you can easily attach it to any metal surface without any extra hardware. It also comes with a nice black plastic mount that it can snap into for use and back out of for charging. The mount can be hung with either the two provided screws or the provided 3M foam tape. I started out with the tape just because I'm not 100% sure that's where I am going to keep it but it has no problem at all supporting the light and staying securely stuck to the painted drywall.

So far I have had no issues whatsoever with the light and I am looking forward to seeing it light way to it's full potential. --haha A little "light" humor.

Bottom Line:
I really love it and give it 5 out of 5 stars.
